This is the third video I’ve shot with my director friend Armen Varadian. I think he is a great director not only because he has a keen eye for a cool shot (with a difficult subject), but he also has a way of tapping into the meaning of a song without being too obvious. So here I am in Washington, D.C. after a solo show at the lovely City Winery. I'm booked at a fancy hotel a half mile from the White House.
